Your tasks
- Working on subprojects and independent projects
- Constructive design of sheet metal bending, punching, and milling parts
- Development of plastic components (initial experience advantageous), development of prototypes, 3D printing, andlaser internally
- Supporting products from the prototype phase to series production
- Preparation of manufacturing documents: part drawings, parts lists, assembly drawings, bending sequences
- Optimization of components until they are ready for series production
- Tolerance considerations for components, assemblies, and systems
- Product maintenance and change management, administration and maintenance of CAD data
- Creation of datasheets, operating instructions, and documentation
- Design of devices for assembly, mechanics, and operating equipment
Your profile
- You have a degree or vocational training in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
- You enjoy working in international teams, are confident in English technical conversation, and are willing to travel occasionally within Europe and Asia.
- You have experience in design with CAD systems, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
- You have knowledge of sheet metal and component processing as well as fixture construction.
- Ideally, you have gained initial experience in plastic part development.
- You have practical experience in working with manufacturing machines such as laser cutters, bending, and punching technology .
- You are characterized by analytical thinking and a strong focus on quality and solutions.
- You enjoy working in a team and at the same time impress with your independent and structured way of working.
