Your Responsibilities
- Work on subprojects and independent projects
- Design of Sheet Metal Bending, Stamping, and Milling Parts
- Development of plastic components (prior experience preferred), development of prototypes using 3D printing and in-house laser cutting
- Supporting products from the prototyping phase through to mass production
- Preparation of manufacturing documents: part drawings, bills of materials, assembly drawings, bending sequences
- Optimization of Components Through to Production Readiness
- Tolerance Analysis of Components, Assemblies, and Systems
- Product Maintenance and Change Management, Administration and Maintenance of CAD Data
- Preparation of datasheets, user manuals, and documentation
- Design of Fixtures for Assembly, Mechanical Systems, and Equipment
Your Profile
- You have a degree or vocational training in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
- You enjoy working in international teams, are comfortable with technical conversations in English, and are willing to travel occasionally within Europe and Asia
- You have experience in design using CAD systems, preferably Autodesk Inventor
- You have experience in sheet metal and component machining as well as fixture construction
- Ideally, you have some initial experience in the development of plastic parts
- You have hands-on experience working with manufacturing machines such as laser cutters, as well as bending and punching equipment
- You are known for your analytical thinking and your strong focus on quality and solutions
- You enjoy working as part of a team, and at the same time, you stand out for your independent and organized approach to work
