To support the continued growth of ANKER , we’re looking fora part-time or full-time (at least 30 hours/week) accountant (m/f/d) to join our teamat ourBielefeld location, starting immediately.

Your Responsibilities

• You will independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• You will handle day-to-day financial accounting and monitor the related processes
• You will process and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable
• You will monitor open items and resolve discrepancies and account variances
• You will process and monitor reports submitted through the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) procedure
• You will reconcile general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable accounts and resolve any outstanding issues
• You will provide support with tax-related issues as well as with operational and year-end audits
• You will help optimize and further develop accounting processes and serve as a liaison between Purchasing, Sales, and Controlling.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a business apprenticeship with additional training as an accountant (m/f/d) or have a comparable qualification
• You have in-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) as well as the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• You have in-depth knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• You have a good understanding of sales tax law, particularly with regard to advance sales tax returns, summary reports (ZM), and the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) procedure.
• You are proficient in using standard MS Office applications
• You have good computer skills, particularly with DATEV; knowledge of iScala is preferred
• You stand out for your analytical thinking skills, as well as your high level of reliability and sense of responsibility
• You work in an organized, thorough, and independent manner
• You are a team player and have strong communication skills
