The ANKER includes both the company’s proprietary LocaFox software and the corresponding point-of-sale hardware on the counter. This means everything comes from a single source, and processes run smoothly and reliably. The hardware components of the all-in-one package include a high-quality Samsung tablet with ANKER , an Epson receipt printer, a SumUp Air debit card terminal, and the ANKER –upon request, the system can be supplemented with a handheld scanner, a display, a label printer, or other components. Upon delivery to the store, the system is already fully preconfigured and, thanks to Plug & Play, is ready for use immediately after unpacking–no prior knowledge required. Nevertheless, ANKER offers ANKER training as well as 24/7 support via email, phone, and WhatsApp.

ANKER leaves ANKER to chance when it comes to software, either. Modeled after everyday applications, the integrated in-house point-of-sale software LocaFox stands out for its exceptionally user-friendly interface–even for those with no prior experience. This tablet-based system, offered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) with monthly cancellable subscriptions, is therefore ideal for beginners. The app offers all basic functions, which can be easily expanded–depending on the software package (from S to L)–to meet specific requirements: for example, to integrate an online store or an additional branch later on, or to add features such as a customer database. It is always ensured that all cash register transactions are stored in compliance with GoBD and the KassenSichV. To this end, each transaction is recorded individually. A digital cash book and data backup in the cloud are also part of ANKER all-inclusive, worry-free package. TSE is also included free of charge. Should any legal changes occur, a software update is provided–ensuring everything always operates in compliance with regulations and eliminating the need for time-consuming preparatory work for the tax office. This reduces the workload on employees and boosts efficiency. Thanks to the integrated DATEV interface, it’s possible to prepare the data for the tax advisor and transmit it to the tax office. The system’s digital receipt not only helps protect the environment but also conveniently sends invoices and receipts automatically via email or QR code. And if the internet connection in the store ever goes down, that’s no problem for the cloud solution either. Thanks to the offline function, you can still process payments even without an active internet connection, without losing any data.

Optimized inventory management and flexible customization options

Furthermore, starting with Package M, this smart POS system tracks inventory levels and ensures that an up-to-date overview and valuable real-time statistics are always available. Which product is selling particularly well? What are the sales figures or inventory levels? LocaFox has the answer. The integrated inventory management system offers retailers of all sizes–from small business owners to multi-store chains–valuable features such as DATEV export and the ability to scan barcodes and track incoming goods. It also provides the ideal foundation for launching an online presence. That’s because the POS system can be connected to an online store–allowing you to process online payments or use the Click & Collect feature right away. The POS system is also flexible when it comes to payment methods. It accepts cash, gift cards, or contactless payments via debit or credit card. Employees benefit from the POS system’s user-friendly interface. They can process payments, apply discounts, accept returns, or issue gift cards easily and reliably. Custom user profiles allow you to grant exactly the level of access you need.

The all-in-one package with basic hardware includes a tablet, mount, receipt printer, SumUp Air debit card terminal, and an ANKER Cash Drawer pre-installed software that comes with support, onboarding, and a one-year warranty for 644 euros. LocaFox, as a SaaS solution, can be canceled on a monthly basis and is available in Package S starting at 39 euros per month.
