PORESY, LocaFox and ANKER have grown together to form a single group, presenting themselves as a unified POS expert with two business divisions: The original core business of ANKER POS systems, the inventor of the modern Cash Cassette, is bundled in ANKER POS Solutions and comprises the development and sale of high-quality POS hardware - from cash drawers to poles and cash management systems to forward-looking self-checkout solutions. The latter require advanced software, which brings us to the second division, ANKER Applications & Services. Here, the focus is on ANKER's own software products, software solutions from technology partners, and services from the former PORESY. Thus, the ANKER Group will continue to integrate standard POS systems, for example from LS Retail, Toshiba GSA, Ratio and the new technology partner Combase, into customer systems. But beyond that, the Bielefeld-based company is pushing its own innovative software solutions. This does not only refer to the already established checkout software LocaFox for smaller retailers. ANKER focuses on future-proof and forward-looking technologies in the POS and retail segment and launches the ANKER Store App for the digitalization of stationary stores in the new year. The smart POS solution is far more than just a checkout system. The application is a practical all-in-one package for end-to-end control of all store processes, including maximum transparency of all relevant data. It supports all areas of the omnichannel and thus also in the implementation and optimization of a cross-channel shopping experience. Thanks to innovative headless architecture, the application is easily integrated into existing backend systems. The ANKER Store app is compatible with all common operating systems and can be used on all types of devices, such as smartphones, tablets, SCO terminals and stationary checkouts.
