Environmental protection and sustainability

Responsible action is an important part of the ANKER corporate culture. We accept the holistic challenge and make a positive contribution to our employees, customers, society and the environment. From the raw material to the delivered product, we pay attention to resource-saving and sustainable actions.

Regional suppliers

Our short procurement channels enable fast production as well as delivery of our products. Due to the production"Made in Germany" we avoid air or sea transports in the supply chain.

Production "Made In Germany

Many production processes are continuously optimized in a sustainable manner to reduce wastewater, electricity and waste.

Waste reduction

We use our own baling press.
The cardboard is further processed into cushion pads and used again in the packaging of our products.

Packing & Shipping

We use FSC-certified cardboard boxes and packaging materials for packing and shipping our products. We do not use plastic packaging as far as possible.

Green electricity

In production and administration, we use green electricity, energy-saving LED lighting, heating thermostats and thermal separation.

Paperless office

By digitizing all documents, we achieve a significant reduction in printing. When using the printers, we use environmentally friendly paper.

Company vehicles

Our employees' company cars are also becoming more sustainable. We are continuously converting company vehicles to electric cars.

Bicycles

Our employees have the option of borrowing an e-bike for short business trips or for leisure. We also support employee leasing for bicycles.

Even after the pandemic, we rely on digital meetings to further improve our environmental footprint.
