Self-checkout systems (SCO) are booming. While the configuration of the various subsystems in the self-checkout segment was often seen as a challenge by retailers, ANKER , as a provider of hardware and software for the point of sale, now offers the solution: The new self-checkout panel comes with all the hardware in a high-quality look and feel - including touchscreen, scanner, printer for receipts and optional holders for payment terminal and hand scanner. The SCO terminal is connected to existing systems on the software side and integrated into the retailer's existing IT infrastructure. It is also available on request as an integrated plug & play solution with LocaFox POS software.

Three variants with many options

ANKER offers the right solution for every requirement and environment with its sophisticated self-checkout panel, as the complete package is available in three basic variations with many expansion options. The self-checkout panel is available as a stand-alone model, for tabletop or wall mounting, including a bracket. A high-resolution, large touchscreen with multi-gesture functionality, an Epson receipt printer and barcode scanner from Zebra, two loudspeakers and LED lighting are always integrated. Optional mounts can be added for a payment terminal and the handheld scanner, as well as a camera. Depending on the distributed product categories, space conditions on site and requirements, the terminals are equipped with additional packing table in different sizes, shopping and / or checkweigher or cash module.

Four mainboard variants based on Android or Windows/Linux work inside the modernly designed SCO panel.

Simple IT integration or complete with new POS software

‍Thanks tothe integration of standard components and a wide range of interfaces, the SCO terminal can be quickly and easily connected to existing software. As an integrated POS system provider, the ANKER Group not only offers the hardware, but also comprehensive implementation and services, including roll-out and accompanying support.

However, self-checkout systems are by no means only suitable for large grocery stores and hypermarkets - there are also advantages for small or medium-sized retailers. Accordingly, ANKER also offers its self-checkout towers directly with integrated LocaFox checkout software. Here, LocaFox by ANKER combines the checkout system, the electronic cash book and merchandise management in a pre-installed and particularly user-friendly solution. This means that the self-service terminal is fully operational after just a few steps.
